LAMP 4

During this project I made 3 lamps based on different neighbourhoods of the city of Rotterdam. All the lamps are hand made out of electric wire, witch are recycled.

This lamp is based on the neighbourhood Kop van Zuid. Previously this neighbourhood was a place with a lot of import and export.  The pattern that I made with the different colours form the shape of a map. This represents the route that the boat made. Now this neighbourhood is a place with a lot of skyscrapers, offices and hotels. The small rounds are all connected, these repent the small rooms that are in the skyscrapers.
